Hawthorn's Sway

£40.00

This ‘Hawthorn's sway’ print celebrates the joyful berries that fill our hedgerows in autumn and the flower represents the birthday month of May. The jewel-like berries that shine through the seemingly endless tangles of hawthorn hedges; their green leaves flushing into rusty russet as autumn's breath blows through the hedgerows.

Symbolism: protection, love, renewal and transformation

Hawthorn symbolises protection through its thorny branches, love with its blossoms, renewal in its seasonal rebirth, and transformation in its changing forms.

The details

This 7" x 9" off-white mounted print is ready to be placed in a frame of your choice.

This original lino print was carved by hand and printed with non-toxic ink onto handmade lokta paper, which has natural flecks. There are always slight variations in the finished print. This is part of the charm of an original print.

All packaging is 100% recycled, recyclable and compostable.
